Mexico’s ‘water monster’ disappears
“Biologist Luis Zambrano of Mexico’s National Autonomous University says the most recent three-month attempt to net axolotls found not one of the creatures. He says researchers are planning a second three-month hunt for the creatures, which still survive in labs and breeding tanks.

Millions once lived in the giant lakes of Xochimilco and Chalco on which Mexico City was built. Using four stubby legs to drag themselves along lake bottoms or their thick tails to swim like mini-alligators, they hunted plentiful aquatic insects, small fish and crustaceans.”

Dear Sagansense,

I greatly appreciate your time in differentiating the observer effect from the uncertainty principle. It truly helped me to understand those ideas in a separate light. However, if you have any willingness to continue a conversation, I am mostly interested to hear if you and your followers consider it possible that there is a universal connectivity. Could there be an unknown capacity of all matter to communicate on a meta-biological level? I’m not a religious person myself, but I have witnessed extraordinary outcomes and situations. I do not think that anything is beyond the realm of science. I do wonder what we have not looked or paid to look for yet.

SIGNAL BOOST! PLEASE REBLOG! Help Logan with cancer treatment.

Thank you.

thejokerspenpal:

This is Logan, a beautiful calico cat suffering from cancerous mammary tumors. Her owner needs some help paying for her vet bill to have them surgically removed so little Logan can survive. This sweet little kitty deserves a chance to enjoy 2014 to the fullest, so can I depend on you guys to help Logan and her mum out by spreading this post around so it can get some more views? She has a small portion of donations currently, but she’s only 1/4th of the way there so far. $2000 is not that steep if we all pull together and lend a helping hand! Thank you to anyone who opens their heart to Logan and her mum. Believe me, words won’t be able to express their gratitude. So please, could you share? It won’t ruin your blog to show you care about animals. ♥
